HOW-TO STEPS

  • 1

Cleanse hair with Moroccanoil® Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner. Establish an ear-to-ear radial parting. Create a central vertical parting from high point to front hairline. Comb hair to natural fall, use 0-degree elevation in the comb and point-cut a one-length perimeter line just below nape.

  • 2

Release the hair on both sides and continue point-cutting at the perimeter line using the previously-cut hair as a guide for the length. Establish a length guide for face-framing graduation at lip level in the center front hairline.

  • 3

Overdirect diagonal-back subsections forward, elevate to 45 degrees from face shape and visually point-cut upward to connect the baseline with your established length guide at lip level. Continue along the sides until the hair no longer reaches the length guide.

  • 4

Point-cut a square profile guide. Using pivoting radial subsections in back, distribute hair straight up and point-cut the hair square to follow the established length guide.

  • 5

Using vertical subsections on the sides, distribute hair straight up and point-cut the hair square to follow established the length guide. Use Moroccanoil® Treatment Light, Morocannoil® Hydrating Styling Cream and Moroccanoil® Root Boost to create a textured finish. Then, define and enhance texture with Moroccanoil® Molding Cream.
