TREND ALERT: Wednesday Addams-Inspired Fringe
Before Your Client Requests Wednesday Addams Bangs, Read These Pro Tips!
Chances are, you’ve heard about the new Addams Family-inspired show, “Wednesday,” starring 2023 Golden Globe nominee Jenna Ortega because it’s literally taking over the internet. It’s impossible not to fall in love with Wednesday’s classic double braid, but this time? Her signature style was paired with texturized, split fringe styled to frame the cheekbone to add a modern twist.
We fully expect clients to request this trendy look, so we’ve gathered all the must-have pro tips to help you recreate it—plus, all the gorgeous fringe-y inspo you need!
The Classic Wednesday Fringe
Here’s the deal: This look is essentially a side-swept curtain fringe that features soft, blunt texture. To recreate it, you need to go back to the basics! Cali-based stylist Ashlee Norman’s (@ashleenormanhair) biggest tip for creating a sweeping face frame is to cut two V-shaped sections on both sides of the part, instead of a round “C” shape.
