HOW-TO STEPS

  • 1

Apply Formula A around the hairline using a babylights technique. Then apply Formula B at the base to create the shadow root. Let process and rinse.

    Remember this!
When working with Redken Color Fusion, remember that the color is based on the American level system, so it can appear lighter than the traditional European level system.

  • 2

Tone with Formula C, leaving out the hairline. Let process and rinse.

  • 3

Apply Formula D to damp hair at the bowl for a only a few minutes. Then rinse, shampoo and condition.

More About Color Fusion and The Formulas
Megan says that Color Fusion has a good working consistency and a huge color pallette to choose from, so it’s an easy color line to love.

For this color, she said: “I created her formulas by examining the starting level and the desired end result first. Then, I determined the undertone and chose a formula based on enhancing or counteracting that undertone.” And when in doubt, turn to the Redken Style Station app. “I love to use the app to help with formulating,” she said.
