Futuristic Layered Cut and Color from Pivot Point International
Hair is very long, dull and lacks shape.
Start on the right side and part a curved line from the apex extending to the top of the ear. Repeat on the left side. Then clip the remaining lengths up.
Start on the lighter side and tilt the head forward. Part diagonally back and use the comb to determine the desired length. Use horizontal comb control and notch parallel to create a stationary design line. Sculpt to complete this side. Repeat on the opposite side.
Start at the top of the section and take a steep diagonal-back parting. Determine the desired length then use perpendicular distribution with 90-degree projection. Notch to create a stationary design line.

Reestablish the center parting in the back. Take a concave parting in the nape on either side. Start on the right side and use the notching techniques from the outside toward the center. Then, sculpt the parting on the left side. Work to the top or until lengths no longer reach.
Air form the hair. Project lengths straight up and point cut to blend. Work toward the face, converging lengths back to the stationary design line.
Add subtle movement to the front of the lighter side with the head tilted in the original position. Distribute downward and use deep notching strokes.
The color graphic shows a level 4, warm brown applied to the exterior up to a diamond-shaped section at the top. The diamond shape is outlined with a level 7, red copper. A level 6, brown red is applied to the remaining hair. Rinse, shampoo, condition and style the hair.
