Three ’70s Rock-Inspired Boho-Chic How-Tos

1 1. Prep hair with Sebastian Professional Volupt Shampoo and Conditioner.
2. Towel dry and apply Mousse Forte from roots to ends to add in body and protect from heat styling.
3. Split hair into a center part and rough dry with blow-dryer until all moisture is removed.
4. Liberally spray Shaper Zero Gravity throughout the entire head.
5. Using a medium to large curling iron, take horizontal back section and randomly alternate rolling the barrel around only mid-shaft to ends and from roots to ends.
6. Leave some pieces straight within the curls for an unfinished and classic Cali look.
7. To finish, finger tease random sections for added body and a softer look then flip hair upside down spritz Re-Shaper as needed to finish and hold the look.

Three ’70s Rock-Inspired Boho-Chic How-Tos

Sebastian Professional recently provided hair styling for Billabong’s 5th Annual ‘Design for Humanity’ benefitting the VH1 Save the Music Foundation. The looks were inspired by a young Brigitte Bardot in her mid-20s embracing the chic and cool Malibu vibe. This “perfectly imperfect” look is easy to achieve with the right prep and product selection. The final result evokes wave and body akin to the natural texture from the ocean mist and beach weather.
