    ERGO RESEARCH WORKS TO “BLOW AWAY BREAST CANCER” WITH SALES OF ITS LIMITED EDITION DRYER!  

    ERGO Research announced the release of their annual limited edition dryer for City of Hope breast cancer research and education. The Velecta TGR3600 Pink dryer is decorated with a pink ribbon to denote that $20.00 from the sale of each dryer will be received by City of Hope to support their efforts in eliminating this disease.

    OCTOBER SALES OF AVEDA’S LIMITED EDITION HAND CREME TO RAISE FUNDS FOR BREAST CANCER RESEARCH!

    Aveda™, is raising funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) with the launch of a limited edition Hand Relief in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October.

    CREATIVE NAIL DESIGN’S LIMITED EDITION “SCENT” GENERATES CITY OF HOPE DONATIONS!

    PROCEEDS FROM PRIVE CUT-A-THON ON OCTOBER 15TH TO BE DONATED FOR BREAST CANCER RESEARCH!

    To help further research and save the lives of women affected, celebrity stylist and founder of Privè products, Laurent Dufourg has organized an unprecedented event.  On October 15, 2005 from 8 am – 12 pm, select Privé salons across the nation will participate in a cut-a-thon and/or donate Privé Product gift baskets to a drawing to raise proceeds for The Expedition Inspiration Fund For Breast Cancer Research.

    “Breast cancer has touched everyone’s life at some point whether it be a friend or family member who has struggled with the disease.  So when my friend and client Téa Leoni first mentioned her affiliation with Expedition Inspiration, we created Privé Styling Brilliance to help raise money,” said Dufourg.

    MEDI-SPA THROWS A PINK PARTY PLUS DONATES A PERCENTAGE OF OCTOBER SERVICE SALES TO CANCER RESEARCH! 

    To raise funds for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, California based Medi-Spa hosted a Pink Pampering Spa Party where guests were pampered with a variety of pink treats: Pink Martini’s, pink-rose manicures and pink fluffy slippers, as well as 5-minute oxygen eye lifts, mini-massages and champagne nail treatments. The party favorite was the Oxygen Bar that rejuvenated party-goers and kept spirits high!

    ZOTOS INTERNATIONAL RAISES $11,000 FOR THE NOEL FOUNDATION

    As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Zotos International organized their fourth annual Breast Cancer Awareness Week with the help of their Darien, Rosemont, Arcadia and Geneva offices. This week-long event benefited The NOEL Foundation, formed to support the financial needs of those suffering with breast cancer.

    The NOEL Foundation was founded in memory of beauty industry icon Noel de Caprio who fought to raise awareness and helped countless others while battling this illness herself for 15 years.

    A two-day cut-a-thon was held in the new Artistic Institute in Darien, with stylists, salon owners and guest artists giving their time and gratuities.  In addition, over 40 vendors donated gift items… and a national raffle organized. Even the corporate food service contributed by selling “pink” dessert items with proceeds donated to the Foundation.

    At the October 15th afternoon finale, President and CEO Robert Seidl presented a check for $11,005.00 to Peter de Caprio, spokesperson for the Foundation, husband of Noel and owner of the Noelle Spa for Beauty and Wellness in Stamford. The amount matched, to the penny, the previous year’s donation.
