How-To: Full Spectrum

OK, it’s clear—fashion colors aren’t going ANYWHERE, and your clients are going to keep asking for innovative ways to wear bold hues. Here we’ve got something cool you can try on your ladies who want to be vivid in front, brunette in back, with a full spectrum of rich tones.


Natural Level: 4, with porous, fine hair


Aloxxi Color Formulas
Lightener: Ultra LIGHTENER + 20-volume developer


Formula A: TONES 4N + 5GV + 7-volume developer


Formula B: ULTRA HOT Green


Formula C: ULTRA HOT Blue


Formula D: ULTRA HOT Violet


Formula E: ULTRA HOT Pink


 

HOW-TO STEPS

    Apply ColourPrime Pre-Color Treatment. Place slices in a horseshoe around the head from one side to the other, leaving out the front hairline. Place a couple horizontal slices in the nape area. Feather application of the lightener 2 inches away from the scalp in slices.

    Create a triangle section in the fringe area. Feather application of the lightener ½ inch away from the scalp in pivoting slices. Prelighten all slices to a pale yellow, then rinse and apply ColourLock Post-Color Finisher.

    Starting in the fringe triangle, place three back-to-back slices of Formula D. Next, place alternating slices of Formula B and C. Finish the triangle with three back-to-back slices of Formula D.

    Move to the prelightened sections at the nape. Apply Formula B, then feather in Formula C on the ends.

    Starting on the right side of the horseshoe prelightened section, apply Formula D, then feather in Formula E. On the next slice, Apply Formula C and feather in Formula B. Repeat throughout the head to the left side. Apply Formula A to all remaining hair. Develop, then rinse thoroughly and apply ColourLock Post-Color Finisher.
