The new growth is retouched utilizing a medium level red tint (low level developer).

A zigzag parting is taken behind the ears and below the crown. The hair is tinted base to ends with the red tint from Step 1.

Another zigzag parting is placed in front of the first one. The section is tinted with a lighter, more vibrant red from the original retouch to the ends.

The final zigzag parting is placed from the low recession to the front of the crown. An ultra bright red tint is applied from the original retouch to the ends.

For the remaining hair, zigzag panels are utilized alternating the 3 red tints used.
