A radial parting is placed from ear to ear. Diagonal forward partings are placed below the occipital bone and sectioned away.

A central vertical section is taken from the crown to the occipital bone.

The section is distributed and elevated 90° and cut square.

Vertical sections are continued. Each section is overdirected back to maintain length.

Working through the front, pivoting sections are overdirected back and cut square.
