  Create a horseshoe shape around the head and prelighten a shine band at the midshaft using Formula D. Once lifted to the desired level, rinse, shampoo and treat the hair.

  Paint Formulas B and C on the prelightened shine band in a diffused, artistic manner. Process, shampoo and treat the hair with Wella Professionals Post Color Treatment.

  1. Select extensions similar in length to the client’s hair and similar to the client’s base color. Prelighten in a diagonal back and forth pattern using Formula D. Rinse, shampoo, treat and dry the hair.

  2. Paint Formulas B and C onto dried extensions. Process, shampoo, treat and dry the extensions.

  Apply Wella Professionals Extra Volume Mousse to roots and Wella Professionals Oil Reflections from the midshaft to the ends. Blow-dry with a medium round brush to create volume at the root. Micro-crimp the back area three inches from the regrowth. Backcomb the crimped area.

  Tuck and pin the hair at the nape with pins. Repeat around the head to create the volumized “bob” effect. Style the hair into a dry fingerwave over the right shoulder and pin. Allow the hair to set for 15 to 20 minutes and remove the pins.
