InvisiDivider Color How-To from Wella Professionals
Enliven a basic brunette with streaks of bold jade. “This seek style is all about offset dimension. The random mingling of warm tan, pearl beige and deep jade keep the eye guessing. Every swing of the hair will unveil a new surprise. The girl next door now craves to be heard,” says Lindsey Washbourne. Using Wella Professionals Color.id, which “beef up” Koleston Perfect and ILLUMINA formulas, she was able to paint the color on the hair without fear of bleeding or running.

Section an offset triangle, hugging over the parting from the front hairline to behind the crown. Pivot off the crown, creating varying sizes of sections, stopping at the top of the ear.
-
3
Beginning with the bottom section, apply Formula A from the regrowth to the ends.
-
4
Apply Formula C on the top middle section, alternating between Formulas B and D through the remaining triangle sections.
-
5
After processing is complete, shampoo with Wella Professionals Brilliance Shampoo and follow with Wella Professionals Color Post Treatment.
-
6
To create an accent piece, tone the lightest pieces with Formula E for a soft, jade pop.
-
7
Cut a length perimeter using a point-cutting technique. Section the fringe from the apex to the front hairline, slide-cutting from short to long.
-
8
Section from the top of one ear to the top of the other ear, starting on one side, slightly wrapping the hair toward the face. Slide-cut from the collar bone down to create soft, face framing layers. Slide-cut where needed to remove excess weight and expose the color.
-
9
Spray Wella Professionals Thermal Image at the roots. Round brush the hair using a medium sized brush to create volume.
-
10
Apply Wella Professionals Oil Reflections to midlengths and ends, and finish using Wella Professionals Stay Essential Hairspray.
