Upcycled ingredients are ingredients (mostly discarded food waste) that would not otherwise have been consumed, like leftover pulp/juice in the production of food products. Some examples of upcycled ingredients in Inner Joi™ products are olive ester, vegan protein, raspberry seed oil and apple extract.

Turning Plastic Waste Into Opportunity:

Our Inner Joi™ shampoo and conditioner bottles are made using 95 percent Social Plastic*, from Plastic Bank. Plastic Bank is stewarding the collection of ocean-bound plastic and empowering collection communities to thrive. The recycled plastic is reborn as Social Plastic feedstock and used in the production of products and packaging—thus, helping create new life for old plastic.

Plus, all Inner Joi™ products are certified vegan by PETA (People for The Ethical Treatment of Animals).
