ghd North America Launches Take Control Now Campaign

Every year, 2.3 million women are diagnosed with breast cancer globally. Throughout the past 18 years, ghd has made it their mission to help raise awareness for this important cause—raising over $22 million dollars total! Here’s how the brand is continuing their support this year: By launching the TAKE CONTROL NOW campaign.

Right now, 40 percent of women aged 18 to 24 surveyed do not regularly self-check.* Their new campaign stands as a reminder for women to regularly check their breasts for signs of cancer every month.

Due to a lack of breast checking confidence, women are less likely to self-check and those who feel awkward or embarrassed about checking their breasts may delay seeing their doctor if they notice a new or unusual change.** ghd’s new collection is embossed with ‘Take Control Now’ – giving you a friendly reminder to self-check EVERY. SINGLE. MONTH.

Every purchase from their vibrant collection of pink, limited-edition tools will donate $20 to The Pink Agenda, a nonprofit organization committed to raising money for breast cancer research, awareness and care. The full collection includes the ghd helios™ professional hairdryer, award-winning platinum+™ styler, ghd gold® styler and the glide hot brush
