Hair Educators Reimagine Timeless Styles With Bellus Academy Students

The Bellus Academy and GHD Professional paired up with LA-based stylist Meg Schipani (@shmeggsandbaconn) to kick off the holiday hair season, and we could not imagine a stronger collab. The power trio gathered in Chula Vista, California for a craft, color and social sesh with students.

The academy utilizes pro relationships to help students grow.

Hands-on events & influencers have much to offer students.

Meg kicked off the evening of hair artistry by leading a styling competition on IG Reels and TikTok for attending students. The prize for the top three looks? A feature on Meg’s Instagram page!

Stephanie Hannen of Wella Education reflected on the engagement and energy of the attendees, speaking to the power of in-person education: “As we move beyond the pandemic and get back to in-person events, GHD is so honored to see our tools and technologies in the hands of established talent and the next generation of leaders,” she said. “Artists like Meg digitally ‘fed’ [inspiration to] us during the pandemic, but there is no substitute for real-world events.”
