The Best Hair & Beauty At The 2024 Emmy Awards
The Best Celebrity Hair Looks At The 2024 Emmys
The 2024 Emmys aired on Monday, January 15—just one week after award season kicked off with the Golden Globes—and we’re highlighting the best hairstyles of the night. As with any award show, we saw plenty of Old Hollywood waves, but there’s other red carpet trends you should also look out for. After ’90s Pam Anderson-inspired updos and Supermodel Blowouts had their moment, it looks like 2024 will see softer, more romantic updos (and lots of bows!). That’s right, elegant updos are back—see more below!
1. Simona Tabasco’s Old Hollywood waves by Peter Lux (@peterluxhair) using Olaplex.
Pro tip to create uniformed Old Hollywood waves: “If you want to try the look, always cuddle the hair toward the face to get that gorgeous wave,” says Peter. “It’s important to brush out the sections very well to get that seamless blend. Then, sometimes it’s helpful to cuddle the hair a second time once it’s brushed out, [this] will make the hairstyle last and make the surface even more even,” he says.

Pro tip for creating volume: To give Aubrey long-lasting volume at the crown, Mark sprayed Olaplex 4D Clean Volume Dry Shampoo liberally on her roots then lightly back-combed the hair for lift.
