  • Formula A (lightener/roots):

    Pulp Riot #BLONDEAF Lightener + b3 Brazilian Bond Builder + 30-volume developer

  • Formula B (lightener/midlengths):

    #BLONDEAF Lightener + b3 Brazilian Bond Builder + 15-volume developer

  • Formula C (lightener/ends):

    #BLONDEAF Lightener + b3 Brazilian Bond Builder + 6-volume developer

  • Formula D (toner):

    2 parts Pulp Riot Toner Silver + 1 part Pulp Riot Toner Violet + a dollop of 8.11

  • Formula E (roots):

    Pulp Riot Mercury + a drop of Noir

  • Formula F (midlengths):

    2 parts Pulp Riot Lava + 2 parts Lemon + 1 part Blush

  • Formula G (ends):

    2 parts Clear + a few drops of Lava + a few drops of Lemon

  Prelighten the hair by applying Formula A to the roots, Formula B to the midlengths and Formula C to the ends. Process until the hair reaches a Level 9/10.

  Shampoo, towel-dry completely, then tone the roots using Formula D. Process at room temperature for 10 to 15 minutes. Note: the Pulp Riot Toner is not available just yet.

  Shampoo thoroughly, then dry the hair completely. Do not condition.

  Starting at the nape, take 1-inch diagonal sections and apply Formula E to Zone 1, fully saturating the roots.

  Then, apply Formula F on the midlengths and melt into Formula E.

  Once satisfied with the blend, apply Formula G on the ends and blend with Formula F. Process at room temperature for 25 minutes.

  Rinse with cold water to avoid bleeding the darker colors into the light ends. Rinse until the water runs clear, then condition the ends. “To take further cautionary steps when rinsing, hold the ends out when rinsing the roots and midlengths to keep the ends bright and true to tone,” advises Iris.
