  Section the hair into quadrants. Starting with the largest section (back panel), take two diagonal, ¼-inch partings on each side of the hairline. Babylight back-to-back slices using Formula A.

  Using ¾-inch sections, work horizontally up to the crown, weaving out strands to balayage. Once weaved, backcomb twice toward the root.

  Paint Formula B onto the hair using an upward motion, leaving behind a W shape.

  Once the back is finished, move to the front. Create three back-to-back babylight foils around the perimeter of the face using Formula A.

  Immediately behind the babylights, balayage in diagonal-back partings in the left and right sections using Formula B.

  Finish in the apex, using the same technique from step 3, working front to back.

  Process in open air for 25 minutes, then add heat for 5 to 7 minutes.

  Rinse well, then shampoo with Oribe Signature Shampoo and lightly condition with Oribe Ultra Gentle Conditioner.

  Comb the hair smooth. Towel-dry, and apply Formula C, processing for 10 minutes.

  Apply a quick shadow root along the back hairline and front hairline (where babylights were placed) using Formula D. Process for 5 minutes.

  Rinse and shampoo with Oribe Ultra Gentle Shampoo and Signature Conditioner. Blow-dry using Oribe Straight Away Smoothing Blowout Cream and Royal Blowout Heat Styling Spray, then style with the ghd Platinum Styler.
