Wella Brands Announce Winners Of Their Annual Competition

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic shifting the way this year’s Beauty Envision Awards were announced, the artistry and resilience of the industry were on display during the live announcement on Aug. 9. Keep reading to see who took home this year’s awards!

Wella announced 12 winners of the 2020 Beauty Envision Awards, after narrowing down more than 3,000 entries, 120 semi-finalists and 36 finalists. The awards are a competition for salon professionals who are ready to unleash their creativity and envision the next era of beauty.

This year’s awards were planned to be in Las Vegas, but the brand repurposed to a virtual format and reallocated the savings to the Professional Beauty Association COVID-19 Relief Fund and The Loveland Foundation via the Fractured Not Broken fundraiser on July 12, 2020.

Judges included Wella Professionals Brand Ambassador Patricia Nikole (@paintedhair), celeb nail artist Jenny Bui (@nailson7th) and Canadian hairstylist and broadcast personality Bill Rowley (@billrowleystyle).

Each of the 12 winners will receive a $5,000 Visa gift card and pro products from ProfessionalStore.com. Plus, the winners of the Wella “Color Artist of the Year” category will qualify to participate in the International TrendVision Creative Retreat in 2021.
