Matrix Announces Two New Brand Ambassadors
Matrix is excited to announce two new Brand Ambassadors, Greg Gilmore and Cynthia Lumzy. Both artists will be joining the Matrix Professional team to bring their unique areas of expertise and extensive backgrounds of the pro beauty industry. Read more below!
Greg Gilmore (@greg_gilmore)
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Greg has spent more than 18 years mastering the art of hair. He has developed into a uniquely talented master of cut and color, with a true passion for hair culture and care. At the early age of 15, Greg began assisting and shampooing in local salons, eager to get a jump start on his peers and learn everything he could about hair before graduating from cosmetology school in 2004.
Years of dedication in haircutting and coloring later, Greg is one of LA’s top haircutting experts and colorists specializing in textured hair. He has continued his education with courses in color theory by Paul Mitchell Color Systems, L’Oréal Professional, and various Vidal Sassoon Academies including London, Los Angeles, New York and Toronto, achieving 7 diplomas in cutting, coloring and education.

Cynthia is an expert color educator and celebrity colorist specializing in creative color, balayage and color corrections. She is also the creator of HAUZ OF WIGZ & MANE CANDY hair products.
Cynthia began her career in the small town of Dixon, Ill., before moving to St. Louis, MO. After completing beauty school and building her skills in one of Missouri’s most prestigious salons, she decided to branch out on her own and take control of her career by building her own beauty empire focused on creativity and education.
