L’Oréal Professionnel Donates Surgical Gloves & Masks To Local Hospitals

L’Oréal Professionnel stands in solidarity with the medical personnel fighting the coronavirus pandemic and the beauty community who’ve been financially affected. The brand’s U.S. division has donated medical supplies, hair products and more to those in need during this time.

Here’s How They’re Helping:

  • L’Oréal USA Professional Products will donate over 100,000 dry shampoos to local crisis response teams and healthcare workers to alleviate personal hygiene needs.

  • L’Oréal USA will donate $250,000 to Feeding America’s COVID-19 Response Fund and will match additional employee donations up to $25,000  to help feed food-insecure families.

  • The brand will also donate over one million dollars worth of personal hygiene products, including cleansers and moisturizers, to Feed The Children.

  • Protective masks will be donated from brand’s facilities in North Little Rock, Ark. and Franklin, N.J. to local hospitals in the surrounding area. Plus, SalonCentric, a L’Oréal company, has already donated 10,500 medical grade gloves to medical centers across the country.

  • Existing payments from small businesses in its distribution network will be frozen, including independent hair salons, until business resumes. The brand will also shorten payment times for small suppliers who have been exposed during this economic crisis.
