Redken Double Fusion Reds Technique
(1) 1 oz. (30 ml) Double Fusion Reds Cr + 2 oz. (60 ml) 30 volume Pro-oxide Cream Developer
(2) 1 oz. (30 ml) Color Fusion Rc + 2 oz. (60 ml) 30 volume Pro-oxide Cream Developer
(3) 1 oz. (30ml) Double Fusion Reds R + 2 oz. (60 ml) 30 volume Pro-oxide Cream Developer
Create 8 pie-shaped sections based on the bevels of the head. In the front, the sections should end at the hairline. In the back of the head, the sections should end just above the occipital bone.
Begin your color application in the front of the head, working your way around to each bevel. Take a ¼” slice, apply Formula 1 scalp to ends and cover with foil. Take another ¼” slice directly above it and repeat application; place foils back-to-back. Repeat at the widest part of each bevel around the head.
Return to the first bevel and drop out a ¼” slice of hair; this will remain uncolored. Weave a ¼” slice directly above, apply Formula 2 from scalp to ends and cover with foil. Repeat in each remaining bevel.

Return again to the first bevel. Drop out a ¼” slice and leave uncolored. Directly above it, take another ¼” slice and leave uncolored. Directly above it, take another ¼” slice, apply Formula 1 scalp to ends and cover with foil. Repeat this twice directly above, leaving a ¼” slice uncolored between foils.
You will be left with a very small circle of hair in the center at this point. In this area, apply Formula 2 from scalp to ends, isolating it in foils to prevent staining.
Between foils and in the area underneath the bevels (nape), apply Formula 3 as the base color.
Process for 30-45 minutes at room temperature. Rinse, shampoo and condition with COLOR EXTEND.
