OLAPLEX’s New Interactive Salon: Everything You Need To Know
OLAPLEX is changing the way pros (and clients) shop for haircare with the launch of a new virtual salon. Stylists can view pro-only products, get pro tips and receive exclusive education. While clients can learn about proper haircare routines and OLAPLEX products.

Finding a New Way Pros Shop Online
The OLAPLEX identity has always been rooted in technology. So when OLAPLEX CEO JuE Wong noticed a shift in online shopping, she saw a need to engage hair pros in a fresh way.
The goal is to meet professionals where they are by creating educational moments that are convenient, engaging and consumable, explains Chief Marketing Officer Charlotte Watson.
Just like in a real salon setting, the new OLAPLEX virtual salon has a “Pro Breakroom,” which takes an innovative approach to learning where stylists can experience pro products in a virtual and interactive setting before trying them in salons.
“Stylists can learn everything from mastering the OLAPLEX Professional services to product education, including pro tips to help clients extend the life of their in-salon treatments and services at home. We also encourage them to enroll in our comprehensive PROgrams to help grow their business behind the chair. It’s the perfect complement to the OLAPLEX Pro app and Pro site,” explains Charlotte.
When it comes to the design of the virtual salon, OLAPLEX stayed true to their California heritage. Creating a virtual space that is bright, airy and welcoming.
