OLAPLEX® Introduces New Bond Shaping Technology™ 

OLAPLEX® has launched a new Bond Shaping Technology™ that supports curly hair of all types and textures. The new technology is designed to effectively repair the internal hair structure to strengthen and reshape curl-forming bonds and lock them in place to rebuild natural curl patterns.

The first products the Bond Shaping Technology™ is used in is the BOND SHAPER™ curl collection. The new line is made up of two products designed to support wavy (2a to 2c), to curly (3a to 3c) and coily (4a to 4c) curl structures from the inside out. 

Here are the BOND SHAPER™ products:

• Bond Shaper™ Curl Rebuilding Treatment is a professional three-step curl restore system designed to repair, rebuild and redefine curls in just one salon visit. It leverages the new patented technology to strengthen and relink broken disulfide bonds, providing curl shape and definition. 

• No.10 Bond Shaper™ Curl Defining Gel is a reparative, curl-defining styling gel to instantly revive natural curl patterns. The new Bond Shaping Technology™ is paired with OLAPLEX’s Bond Building Technology™ to enhance curls for healthy shine and strengthens damaged disulfide bonds, to maintain a healthy curl pattern and shape.

In addition to the new shaping technology, both products also feature nourishing coconut-avocado milk which is high in lauric acid, fatty acids and essential vitamins to fortify curls and reduce breakage.

OLAPLEX conducted a study where 12 professional hairstylists and 68 participants tried the Curl Rebuilding Treatment, and here is what they found:
