Rosie Perez’s Rich Brunette & Romantic Waves

The day before the Academy Awards, Johnny gave Rosie’s color a refresh with Moroccanoil®️’s new professional haircolor. To recreate the look, apply Color Rhapsody Permanent Cream Color 6NN + 6G (6.00 + 6.3) + 20-volume 6% Oxidative Cream Developer to the roots and process for 30 to 45 minutes without heat.

After the color is fully processed, add water, emulsify and rinse thoroughly. 

The day of the awards show, Johnny started by conditioning the hair with the Moroccanoil®️ Intense Hydrating Mask to create the perfect canvas. 

Next, on damp hair, use a dime-size amount of Moroccanoil®️ Treatment or Moroccanoil®️ Treatment Light to provide a smooth foundation for styling.

Spray Moroccanoil®️ Perfect Defense evenly throughout the hair to protect the cuticle against heat damage before styling with hot tools. Next, apply Moroccanoil®️ Blow Dry Concentrate for frizz-free hair.

Blow-dry the hair using the Moroccanoil®️ Power Performance Ionic Hair Dryer and Moroccanoil®️ 25 MM Boar Bristle Round Brush.

Wrap the hair round a large barrel curling iron and let the curls cool. This will help build big, bouncy waves throughout the hair.

Once curls are set, run a brush through to create the perfect soft wave and run your fingers through with a little Moroccanoil®️ Dry Texture Spray for a more relaxed, lived-in texture.

Finish the look with Moroccanoil®️ Luminous Hairspray Extra Strong to guarantee a touchable hold that will last all night.
