JD BEAUTY Appoints Francesca Raminella To EVP Of Global Professional & Prestige
JD Beauty, the parent company of WetBrush, is pleased to announce that Francesca Raminella will join the executive leadership team as EVP of Global Professional and Prestige, effective February 26, 2018. Raminella brings over two decades of top-tier professional beauty experience to the brand.

Francesca is no stranger to the professional beauty space, having held leadership roles at brands including Matrix & Logics, Revlon and Proctor & Gamble Italia. Most recently, she served as President at ghd North America, a worldwide leader of luxury hair tool products. Under her management, sales at the company grew exponentially in three years, and Francesca elevated the brand by establishing retail partnerships with luxury companies such as Neiman Marcus, Saks and Space NK. Prior to her tenure at ghd, Francesca held SVP and General Manager roles at Matrix and part of the Professional Products Division of L’Oréal USA. At Matrix, she oversaw sales, marketing, finance, education and human resources, all of which will be vital assets in bolstering JD Beauty’s rapidly-growing professional brands, WetBrush Pro and Bio Ionic®.
In September 2017, JD Beauty acquired the industry-leading Bio Ionic® line of professional electrical beauty appliances. JD Beauty’s salon heritage is a cornerstone of the brand, and Francesca’s appointment to the leadership team further strengthens the company’s increasing investment in their professional and prestige divisions.
