We’ll wait…dramatic ponies are seriously on-trend and we are obsessed with actress Kristin Cavallari’s voluminous and sculpted style for the 2018 Grammy Awards. Celeb stylist Owen Gould (@owengould) is the hairdresser behind this major look, and he’s serving the steps and products you need to recreate this style behind the chair. Check it all out below!
HOW-TO STEPS

Start by prepping damp hair with Bumble and bumble Surf Spray. Then, blow-dry using a round brush.

Take small sections at the crown, tease and apply Living Proof Style Lab Flex Hairspray from roots to ends. This will help create extra height at the crown for a voluminous ponytail.

Create and secure the ponytail at the crown. Then, curl the ponytail in 2-inch sections and wrap them around a medium-sized barrel curling iron, leaving the ends out. Apply Living Proof Style Lab Flex Hairspray to each section.

Then, go back and tease the ponytail at the root for maximum height at the crown. Finish with Living Proof PhD Dry Shampoo to create additional texture.
