COLOR FORMULAS

  • Formula A:

Wella Professionals BLONDOR + 20-volume developer + b3 Brazilian Bond Builder

  • Formula B:

Redken Shades EQ 9T + a splash of 9V + a dab of 1B and Clear + Shades EQ Processing Solution

FORMULA STEPS

1. Babylight using Formula A to break through the client’s existing dark demi-permanent color. Then let process.

2. Rinse and apply Formula B at the bowl. Keep a close watch to make sure the prelightened pieces don’t get too dark.

3. After cleansing, use the Biolage R.A.W. Color Care Acidic Milk Rinse and leave on for 10 minutes. Because the alkaline level in color separates the hair cuticle and roughs it up during processing, the new rinse from Biolage will balance out the pH levels in the hair and fully seal in the color—keeping it more protected, shinier and healthier for longer.

Pro Tip: Use more of the Acidic Milk Rinse when working with coarse hair or hair that has been heavily processed. Use less if the hair is finer.
