For this look, the use of seamless weaves combined with a block graduating color technique creates a sun-kissed effect around the natural parting and a graduation of color from medium to lighter blonde through the perimeter. Here’s how it’s done.

Sectioning:
From the top crown, take two curved diagonal forward partings to the high recession, incorporating the natural parting. Take an irregular curved parting from the side of the crown section down to the corner of the nape. Repeat the same on the opposite side.
Application:
Starting in the nape area of Section A, take a slight diagonal forward slice and apply Formula A to the roots, and Formula B to the mid-lengths and ends using a smudging technique to achieve a diffused blending of color. Continue working back-to-back slices throughout the section, slightly pivoting the angle as you work toward the front hairline. Repeat on the opposite side.
In Section B, using a seamless weaving technique with Formula B, start from the front hairline, pivoting your angle towards the center profile as you work through the section. On all hair between the weaves apply Formula 1 and on all of Section C, apply Formula C (Light Golden Sand) from roots to ends.
Allow to process for 20 minutes, shampoo, condition and towel dry hair. Using a toning technique, apply Formula D (Elderflower Blonde) to the lightened areas. Process visually, then shampoo and condition once more.
