Sectioning:
Take a center profile and radial parting creating four quadrants. Within each quadrant, take a large V section incorporating the crown and internal layers leaving out the perimeter.
Application:
Starting in Section A, working with a block coloring technique, apply Formula A (Rum Truffle) roots to ends.
Working into Section B, starting in the back two sections, take a diagonal zig-zag slice and apply Formula A (Rum Truffle) to the roots and smudge Formula B through mid-lengths and ends. For the next packet, use Formula A (Rum Truffle) roots to ends. Continue the same pattern through the back two sections, alternating from side to side as you work your way up. Work the same technique through the front two sections alternating from side to side as you work your way up.
Allow to process for 20 minutes, shampoo, condition, and towel dry hair. Using a toning technique, apply Formula C (Butter Rum) to the lightened areas. Process visually then shampoo and condition once more.
