Justin Anderson

As Anita Loos famously said, “gentlemen prefer blondes,” and colorist Justin Anderson has made it his mantra. Born and reared in the sunny climes of Southern California, Anderson grew up near and in the water, surfing with his parents and siblings. “I was fascinated with the sun’s effect on hair,” he recalls. “The way that ocean water and the sun naturally lightened hair has always intrigued me. So when I decided to pursue a career in hair color, I apprenticed myself to two of Hollywood’s leading blonde experts, Johnathan Gale of the Serge Normant Salon and Sheri Roman of the Art Luna Salon.”

With his blonde ambition in tow, Anderson graduated to his own chair at the Neil George Salon, and Vogue anointed him “a rising star of blonde Hollywood.” With clients including Miley Cyrus, Kelly Osbourne, Emma Roberts, Leighton Meester, Jennifer Aniston, Ireland Baldwin, Nicola Peltz, Kim Basinger, Kirsten Dunst, Kristin Cavallari, Jenna Elfman and LeAnn Rimes, Anderson has lightened the mood and haircolor of a wide swath of Hollywood celebrities.
