Salon Franchise Founder Named “Best CEO” by Austin Business Journal
Sport Clips Founder and CEO one of five 2015 recipients
Gordon Logan, Founder and CEO of Sport Clips Haircuts, was recently named “Best CEO” by the Austin Business Journal, in the large company category. Each year, the award honors CEOs in Central Texas from across multiple industry sectors, from retail to technology and the nonprofit sector.
“Texas has been home to Sport Clips for almost 30 years, so it’s an honor to be selected by the Austin Business Journal for this award,” says Gordon. “It has been the ultimate reward to watch Sport Clips grow as the leading hair care provider for men and boys throughout Texas and across the U.S.”
Winning CEOs were selected by a team of judges, including a handful of previous “Best CEOs,” to determine the class of 2015. Judges looked at various areas, from revenue growth to company culture to determine the final selections. Honorees celebrated the occasion at the downtown JW Marriott in Austin, Texas.
Established in 1993, Sport Clips has previously been ranked as one of the Top 10 “Fastest-Growing Franchises” by Entrepreneur and ranks 36th in the “Franchise 500.” It has also been named one of the “2016 Best for Vets: Franchises” by Military Times.
