CEO and President of Farouk Systems, Inc., Basim Shami, announces two key strategic changes in the company’s management structure, designed to position the company for future growth and global success.

Lisa Marie Garcia, formerly Vice President of Shows and Education, has been appointed to the newly created position of Vice President of Innovation and Product Development. In this role, she will focus on seeking out new products as well as researching the latest technologies and product testing systems. “Lisa’s previous position, as well as her background as a stylist and salon owner, will empower her to ensure that Farouk Systems continues to lead the global beauty industry,” says Basim. Lisa Marie will continue to report directly to Basim Shami, and together they will work to develop product and tool innovations.

Andre Chiavelli, Executive Vice President of Sales, will continue to lead all avenues of national and international sales, and in addition, will now oversee the Shows, Education, Schools and Public Relations Departments. According to Basim, Andre’s long, rich career in professional beauty provides the experience and knowledge needed to continue the changing demands for each department. He says he plans to unite each department with new strategies and comprehensive goals that will benefit distributors, salons and stylists around the world. Andre will also continue to report directly to Basim Shami and the pair says they plan to team up to create a solid strategy to move Farouk Systems into the next phase of growth and expansion.

According to Basim, “It is imperative that Farouk Systems stay at the forefront to provide our distributors and salon professionals with the latest advancements as well as the finest education. We are committed to being leaders, and will maintain our leadership through  creating new strategies that will meet the needs of our industry.”
