With her iconic blonde pixie, doe eyes and those unforgettable faux lashes, Twiggy became the face of cool, mod style in the 1960s. Now, 50 years later, she’s making waves in the fashion industry again as L’Oréal Professionnel’s newest UK Brand Ambassador.

“I am absolutely delighted to become a L’Oréal Professionnel brand ambassador, I truly believe in the skill of the professional hairdresser and am so proud to represent the brand,” Twiggy says. “My hair has always been important to me and has been a big part of my image throughout the years.”

The partnership has reunited Twiggy with hairdresser Daniel Galvin, who originally colored her hair in 1966, launching her remarkable modeling career. As brand ambassador, Twiggy will work to highlight the brand’s new blonde formula, Marijel High Lift.

“In a way it was the hair that kicked the whole thing off, which is why this partnership with L’Oréal Professionnel is a nice one,” she says. “Daniel was the one who did my colour back in 1966 for those famous shots, and he did my colour again for this shoot, so it’s come full circle.”
