FORMULA STEPS

1. Start by cutting about 3 inches off of her length. “Her ends were a bit compromised, so I wanted to try to avoid any lifting and blend the balayage she came in with,” shares Joann.

2. Apply Formula A to the regrowth. Then, apply Formula B to the midlengths and blend with Formula A from the regrowth using your index and middle finger.

3. Apply Formula C to the ends to eliminate any residual green hues, and blend with Formula B from the midlengths. Process for 30 minutes without heat.

4. Refine the cut by cleaning up the perimeter and add texture with minimal layering. Blow-dry then style using a 1¼-inch curling iron.
