Combine Brunette & Copper Tones With This Formula

We’ve seen every variation of blonde and brunette under the sun: Bronde, teddy bear blonde, expensive brunette and so on. But with red tones on the rise, where’s the auburn and brunette mashup we’ve been looking for? We’re excited to say that this warm chocolate copper formula by @anderrateliehair delivers.

Keep scrolling for the full step-by-step process and formulation guide!

What does at-home and salon maintenance look like for this color?

Once they leave the salon, clients should expect to care for their new copper tones with lots of moisture. @anderrateliehair recommends OLAPLEX No.0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment and OLAPLEX No.3 Hair Perfector prior to washing, followed by OLAPLEX No.8 Bond Intense Moisture Mask

If the client wants to have a primarily copper color, it’s recommended they come in for a touch-up every four weeks. If the clients wants to be mostly brunette, the color will become more chocolate-toned with each wash and with more time between appointments.
