We’re sharing the formulas, must-have color products and all of the application steps below. Check it all out and go slay the blend behind the chair!

  • Formula A (balayage)

    TRUSS Professional Air Libre Bleaching Powder + 30-volume developer + TRUSS 8X Powder

  • Formula B (money piece)

    TRUSS Professional Air Libre Bleaching Powder + 40-volume developer + TRUSS 8X Powder

  • Formula C (toner)

    TRUSS Professional Deluxe Prime Champagne Blond

FORMULA STEPS

1. Starting at the nape and working in a brick lay pattern, paint with Formula A. For each section, take a zig zag parting and backcomb before applying Formula A to retain dimension and diffuse lines. 

 

2. Continue this technique working around the head. In the front right and left quadrants, work all the way up to the part line.

 

3. Around the face frame, switch to taking horizontal slices with minimal backcombing and apply Formula B for a bold money piece effect.

 

4. Process for 60 minutes, then rinse.

 

5. Then, apply Formula C all over and process for 10 minutes and rinse.

 

6. Apply TRUSS Professional Amino all over to restore hydration after the lightening process and to protect the hair from thermal damage.

 

7. Then, mist the hair with TRUSS Professional Fluid Fix that forms a protective layer around the cuticle and prevents discoloration while styling with hot tools.

 

8. Style full-bodied and bouncy waves directed away from the face.
