The newest collection from our now favorite Aussie salon – é salon – is called ORGANIC and was created by Emiliano Vitale for the 2008 Australian Hair Fashion Awards where he was nominated as a finalist.  His ORGANIC collection brings the vistas and terrain of beautiful New Zealand to your fingertips, so if you can’t afford a plane ticket, this collection just might be your next best option.

ORGANIC is all about product-free hair, pushed to the boundaries with exaggerated textures and shapes, and it’s anything but granola or wheat grass.  It’s raw and innately sexy, inspired by hair in its natural state.

The looks take influence from the naturally formed shapes and textures found in nature; more specifically, the ruggedly beautiful and native surroundings of Auckland, New Zealand.  Shapes created in ORGANIC are reminiscent of the dynamic forms created by the bodies of water, textured landscape and the rugged bushland of the Natural Forests. 

ORGANIC translates the New Zealand landscapes into a clean, modern style.  The prefect gloss and finish of the bob reflects the glassy lakes; the tousled curls and stressed ends represent the unpredictability of the bushland; soft angles and luscious ripples capture the mountainous landscapes and twisting river ways.
