Contessa 20 Winners
The beauty world came together in Canada November 2, 2008 to honor the artistic achievements, celebrate the winners of today and discover the style setters of tomorrow at the 20th annual Contessa Awards – The Canadian Hairstylist of the Year Awards. More than 1,200 beauty pros gathered at the Sheridan Centre Hotel to witness the very best in hair, makeup, nails, salon interior and, for the first time ever, Salon Business Excellence.
The evening’s events were hosted by TV personality Bill Rowley, who holds a regular spot as a makeover artist and industry expert for Canada’s CityTV’s CityLine. This year’s Contessa’s were as exiting and stylish as ever before, including outstanding runway presentations, video retrospectives and moving speeches. The audience was captivated again and again.
