Hairstylists from around the USA had the opportunity showcase their artistry in hair design by entering the fifth annual Stars Photo Competition, sponsored by Cosmetologists Chicago® (CC). Dozens of talented stylists competed for a chance to win cash awards for the top photo makeover submissions

The “Stars & Rising Stars Hair & Fashion Photo Makeover” Competition was established to encourage artistic thinking in hair design by young as well as established hair designers. The winning stylists were chosen from before photo entries—look prior to styling and makeup application; and after photo entries—look once all styling and makeup application had been performed.

A panel of leading fashion and style makers judged the five winners based on the quality of their work. Winners were recognized on Center Stage during the Chicago Midwest Beauty Show.
