26 year old Joe Nions began his career as a young school-leaver; currently, as Salon Manager at The Cutting Room in Chapel Allerton, he is regarded as one of the hottest young hairdressers within the UK.

This amazing photographic collection with an Hispanic edge features beautifully tanned models in ruffled fashion subtly lit against a natural material backgrounds.  Hair throughout the collection is all about texture…. featuring a lot of curl and movement shifting from the ‘Sienna’ type curl to a stronger style.  This collection which earned Joe the North Western Hairdresser of the Year title at the 2005 British Hairdressing Awards was inspired by the catwalk but created for the masses; it is wearable to those of all ages and all hair types.

About The Cutting Room

Cutting Room began in 1986 and has since grown into a multi-award winning salon. This exciting team is fronted by three times Northern Winners of the British Hairdressing Awards and the Northern region of the L’Oreal Colour Trophy, Charles and Karen Dodds.

This extremely talented pair have been involved in some spectacular show work, having been on stage at the Royal Albert Hall after winning the Visionary Award in 2004. Their passion and creativity echoes through the entire Cutting Room team who they lead and inspire.  In 2005, Cutting Room salon manager Joe Nions won the title of North Western Hairdresser of the Year, following in Charles and Karen’s footsteps and making it four years in a row for Cutting Room.  To win this regional title four years consecutively, is very special and has never been done in the history of the awards.
