How-To: Adrien Brody’s Textured Oscars ‘Do
Adrien Brody should never dress down—this man was meant to wear a tuxedo! He looked absolutely dapper at the 87th Academy Awards in a white tux with black accents, and his dark locks looked especially sharp pushed back. How did hairstylist Paul Norton make Adrien’s dark hair show its texture despite millions of flashbulbs going off around him? Paul enlisted the help of his friends at Matrix to ensure Adrien was able to show off his fun, full mane. Here’s how he did it:

Paul prepped Adrien’s medium length hair with Matrix Style Link Heat Buffer Thermal Styling Spray mixed with Matrix Style Link Volume Builder Volume Booster on his freshly rinsed hair.

Using a small boar bristle round brush, Paul blew out his locks from the bottom to top. He was striving for an appropriate amount of volume and fullness on top so as not to overwhelm the whole look.

Once the hair is dry, Paul strategically messed up Adrien’s hair with Matrix Style Link Over Achiever Cream to shape it and show off his texture—after he gave Adrien a fresh cut and blowout.
