SZA’s 2026 Met Gala hair was all about soft definition and touchable volume. Created by celebrity hairstylist Devante Turnbull (@turnbullhair) using Bumble and bumble., the look leaned into natural texture with added shape, bounce and an effortless finish.
To create it, Devante focused on layering hydration and lightweight styling to enhance the curl pattern without weighing it down. The hair was diffused for shape, then finished with texture and flexible hold to keep movement intact.
