After seeing these rich honey curls on Lauren Valentin’s (@laurenlee_hair) feed, we had to reach out for details. Would you believe this stunning look was the result of a major color correction?! Scroll through for pricing, formulas and steps for this color correction win.

1. Who is the ideal client for this look?

“This technique is really for anyone. Rezölites™ are designed for curly hair to be balanced and customizable to the guest as far as density and desired look,” says Lauren. This technique looks amazing blown out as well, making it versatile for any style.

2. How long does this technique take and how long does it last?

“She was actually a color correction so I took a lot of fine teases and super thin balayage sections in order to work fast and efficient. Two inches of her ends were very orange and the top six inches were banana yellow so I  made sure to keep checking foils section by section to make sure they didn’t over process.”

“It took me almost three hours to apply. With proper at-home care, this can last 6-12 weeks before a toner refresh is needed,” says Lauren.

3. What does maintenance require for this look?

At-home hair care would require using sulfate-free and paraben-free hydrating cleansers and hydration conditioners. “A lot of curly girls wash their hair once a week which is great for longevity,” says Lauren.

“A glaze for color refresh will be necessary every six to twelve weeks and a full retouch every six to twelve months. Looser textures like 2a-3a textures generally come in around six months while clients with 3a-4b textures can go longer to about twelve months,” explains Lauren.
