Color Correction: Platinum Silver

Imagine this: A client comes in with chunky highlights at the crown and 6 inches of Level 2 roots…and she wants to be totally silver. Does this sound super fun, or have you running out the door? For BTC Team Member @roxybeautytouch, it was a 7-hour color correction that resulted in an OMG-worthy finished look!

1. Roxy started with a full head of foils using Formula A on the regrowth. Even on Level 2 hair, Roxy said she never uses 40-volume. “Better to be safe than sorry,” she said.
2. Next, she applied Formula B at the roots (while the hair was still in foils). The secret to clean blonding? Clean working! “Use a small brush and don’t use excessive product to stay in control,” Roxy said.
Note: If you work alone, your process might be different. “I work with three assistants, so foiling only takes 45 minutes,” Roxy said on Instagram. “It lifts evenly and I wash at the same time.”
3. After achieving a clean lift, Roxy toned the hair with TRUSS Professional Blond Mask, with violet pigments that tone as it hydrates and restores strength, resistance and flexibility.
4. Finally, she shampooed with TRUSS Professional Blond Shampoo as an extra defense against yellow tones and to continue to repair the hair cuticle.
