Festival season is officially underway with the start of Coachella weekend one. And even if you can’t make it out to the desert in Indio, California to hear the likes of Lady Gaga, Megan Thee Stallion and Charli XCX perform, you can still partake in what we think is the best part: the hair trends. Coachella’s crowd has always been known for their bold and expressive hairstyles that blend nostalgia and modern elements to set the stage for the music festivals that follow.
So to commemorate the start of festival season 2025 and inspire your upcoming festival looks, we’ve rounded up the 8 best Coachella hair looks of all time that we hope have a revival this year.
1. Flower & Butterfly Hair Accessories:
Coachella circa 2016 to 2019 was synonymous with the flower crown, and while they were adorable (see some throwback pics below!) we’re hoping the 2025 festival season brings a mix of scaled-back, dainty flower and butterfly hair accessories.
