Luxury Brand Partners Welcomes Leading Beauty Industry Veteran to Team

Luxury Brand Partners (LBP) has just announced industry veteran Albie X Cortes has joined the company as General Manager of an exciting brand launching in late 2015. Albie will head up development and sales for the new brand and teach business courses in LBP’s upcoming Miami academy.

“Luxury Brand Partners is the only player in the industry that is truly prepared and able to take salons to the next level,” says Albie. “There’s a unique, forward-thinking brain trust here that doesn’t exist anywhere else, and they are completely dedicated to elevating salons and stylists…not just selling products.”

Albie has been in the professional beauty industry for nearly 25 years. He was most recently the Vice President of Sales at Kérastase and Shu Uemura. Prior to that, he held the same role at Bumble and bumble. He has specialized in building strong relationships and helping salons through retail and business education.

“I am excited to work closely with salon owners, managers and stylists to champion the LBP mission and share the vision of a brand that really stands for something,” Albie notes. “Salons and stylists give so much to so many people, and they deserve to receive that same level of luxury service, products and relationships that they provide to their clients every day. LBP is the first true collective of brands that delivers on that and makes all salons—big or small—feel special.”

Albie will be based at Luxury Brand Partners’ Miami headquarters, but will spend much of his time traveling around the country spreading the LBP message to salons.

“I have worked with Albie in various capacities on and off for nearly 15 years,” says LBP President Tevya Finger. “He is a talented and smart hair industry executive with a deep knowledge of the salon channel. I look forward to working with him again, this time as an integral part of the LBP team.”
