Subtle Waves: Dunkin’ Donuts Style
When BTC first heard about a new professional hair care line that focuses solely on supporting the needs and challenges hairdressers face every day in the salon, we were overjoyed. After all, it’s not every day that a collection of stylists and educators dedicated entirely to stylists’ wellbeing and education comes along. So when we were invited to Fuel’s first-ever official photo shoot in Cleveland, Ohio, we happily obliged.
“Everything we do revolves around thinking about what really happens in a salon,” said Richard Strom, Co-Founder of Fuel. “Real-world challenges that stylists and salon owners face and how we as a brand can help them right from the start—from education to the products that support them.”
On set in Cleveland, we got a behind-the-scenes look at Fuel in action. One of our favorite looks from the shoot was a soft, loose finger wave style from Fashion Week Stylist Paulo Passani. It had a sleek, glamorous feel to it that looked effortlessly elegant. Plus, Paulo used a unique trick to achieve the look. Since Fuel is all about looks real stylists can do behind the chair—the looks your clients will want to wear out of the salon—we had to get the how-to! Here’s how Paulo did it.
