- Formula B (mids and ends)
2 parts #mydentity Permanent 6MR + 1 part #mydentity Permanent Developer 20-volume + 1 part #mydentity Permanent Developer 30-volume + Olaplex No.1
Divide the hair into quadrants, then apply Formula A at the roots, taking the formula about 1 ½ inches down.
Pro Tip: Don't overuse Olaplex No.1 in formulations. Guy says people often use too much, and if you do this, you can affect color deposit. Use the recommended amount and add it after you've already mixed your color!

Apply Formula B to mids and ends, smudging and blending the color into Formula A. Let process for 30 minutes.
Pro Tip: Guy mixed 30-volume developer with 20-volume developer to achieve a 25-volume developer. The higher the developer, the more exposure you'll have of underlying pigment and the less color deposit you'll achieve.

Midnight Rose
That shine though! Everyone’s #hairbestie Guy Tang created this look using #mydentity. It’s perfect for brunettes who want to keep their deep tones or for those who want more work-friendly fashion colors. Guy drops some wisdom in this one, like this pro tip—when working with reds, go with a 10-volume developer at the base to avoid hot roots. Check it out!
