  Begin by sectioning off a few random pieces of hair on the top and sides of the head and leave them uncrimped.

  Crimp ¼-inch sections using the CHI Onyx Euro Shine Crimping Iron from roots to ends, leaving some pieces uncrimped as you work.

  Take down a top section of the hair and divide it into three equal parts. Crimp all three parts from roots to ends.

  Finish by wrapping two pieces of hair from the far side of the fringe area around one another, incorporating more hair into your two strands as you loosely twist across the front hairline.
