Begin by prepping the hair with Oribe Shine Light Reflecting Spray and a flat iron. The shine spray makes the hair a little heavier and gives the finished look defined texture. Then, apply the Invisible Extension by Hairdo in the crown area. Position it so the ends are behind each ear.

Use a rattail comb to pull the client’s hair over the invisible string, then brush through to blend the extension together with her own hair.

Create a deep side part and start creating a 3-strand braid. While working, make sure it is not too tight against the scalp. Continue until the braid is complete. Then secure.

To hide the end of the braid, pin up a section of hair, prep the attachment area with Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray and lightly backcomb to keep the bobby pin in place.

Next, apply hairspray and gently pancake out the braid.

Once the braid is complete, brush hair into a low ponytail and secure. 

Conceal the ponytail elastic by wrapping it with a small piece of hair. Use a hair pin or bobby pin to pull the end of the wrapped hair into the ponytail for a finished look.
